Steve has owned the CPA firm for over 20 years and is pleased to be Dave Ramsey’s Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) for the area.
Additionally, Steve has been a corporate controller and has experience with a large, international CPA firm. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

He is a past member of the IRS’ Speaker Cadre at small business tax workshops cosponsored by the SBA & IRS and has volunteered as treasurer of several non-profit groups. He is also a volunteer in the Chaplain’s office at the Jackson County Detention Center (Jail) in Kansas City since 1992 where he has seen faith in Jesus Christ change the lives of convicted criminals.
Steve started the accounting firm in the mid-1980’s and has served clients in various industries ranging from leasing, construction, medical, retail, sales and service, and others. He has authored business plans, developed financial projections for loan applications, and assisted with stockholder cross-purchase agreements.
He has designed and implemented financial systems and cost controls, recommended accounting software and setup, and interviewed and recommended accounting personnel.
Steve has been married since 1980 and has two sons. He is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He follows the Kansas City Royals and plays an occasional round of golf.
